Beer nuts and 'The Swoop' made for a legendary weekend.Our friend, the great bburke, came to mind when I found BeerNuts. He’s now safely married, but the story of the infamous Clear Lake Beer Nuts will be told to his children many years from now.

Maybe he should submit that recipe? Or I guess it’s obvious to everyone that beer nuts is made by pouring (sober mind you) beer into a bowl of nuts.

A lot can be learned from BeerNuts.com, for instance Beer Nut Races. You get everyone a full beer and a peanut. Hold the peanuts over the beers and on the count of three, release them into the glasses. The nuts sink to the bottom. When enough of the carbonated bubbles collect on the nut, it rises to the top. The last nut up loses!
