Okay, I’m definitely going to hell for this one, but after the Christmas Carol, there is a precedent for the Tard Blog. If you have a moment, I highly recommend this one.

VERY SERIOUS UP
As a precautionary measure, I will begin taking applications from real special Ed/SBD/special needs teachers to write this blog next year. Here is what we are looking for:
-Someone who cares about her students but sees the humor in life and in teaching such a class
-Someone who can write decently well. You need not be Hemmingway, you just need to have a good understanding of story and flow, and a good sense of humor.
-Someone with a class at least as large (about 12 students) and funny as Riti’s.
Someone reliable and with enough time to write about 36 installments/mini-stories every week.
In a short paragraph or essay, tell us why you think you should be the next Riti Sped, AND include 2-3 short story submissions, a la Tard Blog Style. Send all applications to this email address: brodyvoss@tuckermax.com
You have no need to worry about anonymity, as we kept Riti’s identity secret for a year despite SERIOUS efforts by some very messed up people to find her. But, if you desire, you can sign up a new anonymous email account on Yahoo or Hotmail to use when sending email to us, that’s completely fine. In fact, it’d be better if we didn’t even know your real name or where you are from, as it really isn’t that important.
