The picture you posted as part of your blog was over 400K.

General notes for posting pictures:

Put all photos in the “images/” folder under the “” bullet point. Please keep pictures that are shown in the text of the blog under 10K. If you don’t have photoshop or a similar editing program, select the “Create a thumbnail for this image” option that automatically creates a smaller image for you. Simply constraining the height and width will make the image appear smaller, but will do nothing to actually make the image file size smaller.

Other handy tips:

Use align=”right” to align an image on the right of your text.

Changing the contents of the alt tag provides for text that appears when you mouse over the image.

Over the weekend I changed the upload template to make posting images much simpler.

Now, to upload something to a folder other than images takes effort as the default is the images folder in the local fault path.
