Even crazier – it turns out the guy was almost killed last month when he was buried up to the neck in an avalanche.
Two quick observations:
(a) you’re a stud, and

This guy is a serious stud. I wonder what sort of shape his arm and nerves were in if was pinned by a rock for 5 days.

I can’t count the number of times that people on the trading floor have said “hey did you guys hear about the guy who cut his arm off with a pen knife?” Personally, I would pass out from the gore of it all regardless of how dead my arm was!
